About the Store:
One of the coolest things to happen upon is an Artisan Market. You are guaranteed a unique selection to experience - it's not just another drop shipment of mass- produced stuff from China. The best ones have a blend of fine art, vintage, upcycled furniture, fabulous handmade jewelry, goods and wearable art. Sometimes you can find them with retail close-out booths that bring stuff in at just rock bottom prices as well. So the scene is eclectic, some areas are too expensive, some are shockingly cheap (artisans often undervalue their work as they get started). But what you get to enjoy is the uniqueness and the exploration. Each thing feels special. At the Artisan Market in downtown Eureka, we host handmakers and handmade artisan jewelry, art, accessories, decor, soap, toys, and apparel. We also host a vintage clothing collection and online sales. And our largest category is our Garments of Praise ministry featuring high quality, professional and edifying apparel. And lastly, we help individual business owners who are ready to go out of business in order to bring in close-out priced goods. And yes, we do this all via a self-checkout model, with helpers available periodically throughout high traffic times to assist customers. We have information throughout the store to help with the self-checkout experience. We use video cameras to ensure the integrity of the experience. We offer a number of ways to pay for items to help reduce the stress of new technology use. We accept cash and check on site, or we can send a simple invoice to pay later at home via credit card. We also have a payment kiosk for swipe, chip and tap credit cards, and we accept Venmo and Paypal @artisaneureka. We actually have an ulterior motive or two. We are testing portable concepts and methods for struggling churches to launch low-bar thrift and special needs ministries that can help their community resource their ministry. And we know that people experience a huge dose of scripture and peace in our store experience. As the eye moves throughout the store, there are scriptures edifying and blessing them as they peruse. And we play a soothing playlist of scripture inspired songs by our friends at Scripture Lullabies. It's open 24-7 for you. IMPORTANT: Additional parking off the alley behind the building by Pizza Hut! There are also two public lots back on the alley - and YES you may enter through the back door of the building. Come up the hallway and enter through our hallway door! 106 S. Main St. Eureka, IL 61530 TEXT 331-575-9170 for any questions Gallery
